Sub-processors
For the proper functioning of the Service, your data may be communicated to our technical sub-processors:
- O2switch: web hosting (France, EU);
- Stancer: payment processing;
- Email service: for transactional emails;
- Google Analytics: audience measurement.
Progression data
For your micro-learning experience, we collect your scores, XP, ranks, and play time.
Skills & performance data
As part of your gamified learning experience, we collect data reflecting your skills and progression:
- Scores & results: quiz scores, success rates, response times, performance history;
- Ranks & levels: current rank, level reached, accumulated XP, leaderboard position;
- Badges & achievements: badges earned, series completed, Open Badges obtained;
- Skill domains: skill breakdown by technical category, progression per domain.

If you join a company guild, your manager can view your technical progression (not your private data).
4bis. Professional Visibility & Skills-Based Recruitment
This service is entirely optional. It is only activated if you expressly consent via your profile settings. You can disable it at any time.
Principle
Skillwaker offers an innovative skills-based recruitment service, allowing partner companies to discover talent not through traditional CV criteria, but through demonstrated results, progression, and skills on the platform.
Data accessible to partner companies
When the service is enabled, only the following data is accessible in anonymized form:
- Scores and success rates per skill domain;
- Rank, level, and badges earned;
- Progression history and learning consistency;
- Technical specialization domains.
Never shared:
- Name, username, or codename;
- Email address and profile picture;
- Payment or billing data;
- Browsing history and technical data.
Double consent mechanism
Contact between a company and a user follows a two-step process:
- Expression of interest: the company expresses interest in an anonymous profile. The user receives a notification describing the company and the proposed opportunity;
- User acceptance: the user freely chooses to accept or decline. Only upon acceptance are their contact details revealed to the company.
User controls
The user has the following controls at all times:
- Enable or disable the Professional Visibility service;
- Enable or disable professional solicitation notifications;
- Block a specific company;
- Choose notification frequency (real-time or weekly digest).
Legal basis
This processing is based on the user's explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

We use standard SSL/TLS encryption for all communications.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt/Argon2 and are never stored in plain text.
