Overview

Your gamified headquarters

The Sanctuary (Dashboard) is the main landing page of the Skillwaker application. It centralizes all your key information on a single screen: your avatar with its level and rank orbs, your resources (Gold and Mana), your experience bar, the daily quest, your stats, and your activity history.

In technical terms: The Sanctuary corresponds to the Dashboard. It's your personal hub that aggregates your learning KPIs: progression, daily engagement, performance, and history.

It is from the Sanctuary that you plan your session: check your resources, complete your daily quest, and then dive into the Raid Portals (Quizzes) or the Archives (Courses).

The Resource HUD

Gold & Mana in real time

The HUD (Head-Up Display) shows your 2 main resources in real time: Gold and Mana. It is permanently visible in the top bar of the Sanctuary.

🪙 Gold

Virtual currency earned by completing quizzes and quests. Used to unlock content and gear in the Inventory.

🔮 Mana

Energy required to launch a quiz (Raid Portal). Regenerates at a rate of 10 points per hour. Awakened users (Premium) have infinite Mana.

Premium: Awakened users have unlimited Mana and never need to wait for regeneration to launch a quiz.

Avatar & Radial Orbs

Your visual identity in the Awakening

The central area of the Sanctuary displays your avatar surrounded by two radial orbs that indicate your Level and Rank in real time. Animated particles and a glowing ring bring your character to life.

Your pseudonym displayed under the avatar. Default is "AWAKENED", customizable in the Profile.

The Experience Bar (XP)

Visualize your progression

The XP bar is located directly beneath your avatar. It indicates your progression toward the next level with an animated gauge and a precise numerical counter (Current XP / Required XP).

In technical terms: The XP bar is a Level Progress Bar. The leveling algorithm uses an exponential curve: each tier requires more XP than the previous one, ensuring long-term engagement.

How to earn XP?

Complete quizzes (Raid Portals) — the primary source of XP, amplified by the Combo multiplier
Finish the Daily Quest — guaranteed daily XP bonus
Clear the Fog — spaced repetition review bonus (Spaced Repetition)
Read courses (Archives) — chapter reading XP
Replay a quiz — reduced XP but stackable to reach mastery

Leveling Up: When the bar reaches 100%, you level up. Your Mana is fully restored and a celebration effect plays — your Rank may also evolve if you cross an SSS threshold.

The Daily Quest

Your daily challenge

The Daily Quest is a daily objective that resets every 24 hours. Complete it to earn XP and Gold rewards, and maintain your consecutive day streak.

In technical terms: The Daily Quest is a Daily Active User (DAU) mechanism. It generates a behavioral retention loop: the user returns every day to maintain their Streak, which mechanically increases their total learning time.

Your adventure log

The Recent Activity card displays a chronological feed of your latest actions: finished quizzes, viewed courses, gained levels, and earned rewards. It's your personal adventure log.

In technical terms: Recent Activity is an Activity Feed. Each entry corresponds to a server-side timestamped user event — quiz, reading, level up, reward — displayed in reverse chronological order.

Manage your Mana: If your Mana is low, take the opportunity to study in the Archives (free). Return to the Raid Portals when it has regenerated.

Protect your Streak: A single missed day resets your streak to zero. Even a quick quiz is enough to validate the day.
